Thank you to all who contributed to the Giving Tree. On behalf of all the Southborough Food Pantry clients, a HUGE thank you to Orla Wages for all her work in ensuring that this year’s Giving Tree was such a big success and to aLl who contributed to the Giving Tree. As I sat in Church, I was amazed as the gifts arrived and filled the sanctuary. What a sight!!! I had the honor of giving some of the gifts to our clients, receiving a big hug and kiss. I received this warmth on your behalf. Please know that you made many people lives brighter this Christmas season. May you and your family have a joyous, peace-filled Christmas and new year. Pat Draper, St. Anne Pantry Coordinator
On Sunday, December 10th, St. Anne Parish welcomed Paul Stephen Soliman into our parish family. He and his family celebrated the Sacrament of Baptism at the 10:30 Mass. Congratulations, Paul!
I’ve often seen how agitated residents who are sick, elderly or have dementia, find peace and a sense of well being by caring for a baby doll. How strong is the instinct in each of us to love and care for another. In honor of the infant Jesus we celebrate this season, and His Blessed Mother who cared for him, I would like to collect 23 life-like baby dolls to donate to St. Francis-one for every day of Advent. Please help by purchasing a doll and bringing it to the Parish Office or placing it in the bin inside the front parish foyer. Gently used or “like new” are welcome too. Thank you for your generosity. Tanya Rybarczyk, St. Anne Parishioner and director of Pastoral Care at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing in Worcester.
CHRISTMAS FLOWERS MEMORIAL OFFERINGS are welcomed and will be used for decorating the church for the Christmas season. Please list all the names of those you wish to remember and honor with your donation. Donation envelopes are found in the weekly envelope packet and extra envelopes are in the foyers of the church.
