The Knights of Columbus, Southborough Council, will be holding its annual Free Throw Competition on Monday, January 23 at Trottier Middle School. Registration opens at 6:00 p.m. and basketball shooting begins at 6:30 p.m. Please register with proof of age, a show of parental consent, and an email contact. The contest is free and open to boys and girls ages 9 to 14 who are Southborough residents. Age group winners move on to the district, (and potential) regional, and state competitions. Do you need money for college? The 10th Annual KofC College Scholarship Fund shall be awarded to the graduating high school seniors of St. Matthew and St. Anne Parishes. The Southborough Knights of Columbus will be awarding three $500 scholarships. THE SOUTHBOROUGH KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS will be hosting their 11th Annual Basketball Free Throw Challenge for all boys and girls ages 9 to 14 on Monday, Feb 3rd from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Trottier Middle School gymnasium. The event is free of charge. Parental consent will be required at on-site registration. Please join us for this fun event. Participants show off their free throw shooting skills, and top scorers are eligible to compete at regional and even state level events. Gymnasium address is 49 Parkerville Rd Southborough, MA 01772. The Southborough Knights of Columbus will once again be running their Annual Soccer Challenge during the Heritage Day Celebration at St. Mark's School held on Monday October 14th. This is a fun and free event for all children ages 9-14. Participants kick penalty shots and are scored based on the difficulty of the shot. Prizes awarded for top scores. Parents are welcome to help us process papers, count the scores, and retrieve runaway balls. We hope to see you on the field!!
The Southborough Knights of Columbus will be giving out Tootsie Rolls after all masses the weekend of May 18 and 19. If you would like to make a donation to the Special Needs Charity Fund, your generosity is greatly appreciated. Every year the Knights of Columbus across Massachusetts raise over $500,000 to donate to families with children of special needs in the form of Charity Grants.
